Te Orewai Tupua Native Nursery is a Hapu-led initiative born from the whenua In Tai Tokerau (Northland) of Aotearoa. Our roots run deep through generations of kaitiaki — guardians of the land — who understand the power of native flora not just as plants, but as taonga.

Our nursery was established with a simple goal: restore the land while restoring our people. We grow and nurture native species that heal the environment, reconnect communities with their roots, and support long-term ecological restoration.

We believe every plant carries a story. From the seed to the soil, from our hands to your whenua, every step is guided by Mātauranga Māori, collaboration, and aroha.
